We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Transport Purchasing Coordinator. This is a full time, permanent and office based position working for a very well established company. The role is to ensure compliance of the vehicle fleet.
The position reports to the Group Transport Manager.
- Book vehicles in for PMI's, Service and repairs, within the legal timescales.
- Ensure all Road tax is purchased for each vehicle.
- Monitoring and purchasing of fuel.
- Allocating and loading of fuel to drivers and trucks.
- Monitoring fuel levels in depots and arranging deliveries.
- Assist in all areas of transport.
Must have a good level of knowledge using computer programs, experience of using commercial computer programs, and good general computer skills. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision. Due to our location on an industrial estate with no access to public transport, candidates must have their own transport.
