£13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
40 hours per week | Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machine Operator / Improver to join a highly skilled engineering team. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience operating CNC machines who is now looking to progress into machine setting and, ultimately, programming.

This family-owned engineering business has built an excellent reputation within the industry. The company manufactures its own prestigious product range, supplying worldwide through its own distribution network, alongside providing sub-contract machining services across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Following job cards, procedures and instructions from team leaders
- Operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Inspecting components as they come off the machines
- Completing daily machine checks
- Working accurately from engineering drawings and production methods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of CNC milling and turning processes
- Experience using inspection equipment such as micrometres and verniers
- An understanding of an ISO9001 quality environment
- Basic computer literacy
- A driven and motivated attitude with pride in their work
- The ability to work under pressure when required
