The Role:

  • Assisting fee earners with the management of residential property files, including both freehold and leasehold sales.
  • Drafting legal documents, preparing contract packs, and managing client communications.
  • Conducting pre-completion checks, managing post-completion formalities, and maintaining accurate file records.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process.
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks, including diary management and document filing.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, specifically handling freehold and leasehold sales files.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with conveyancing software and case management systems is a plus.
