Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives Perm (after 3 month agency probation)

Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 2 Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for a leading drainage contractor working in partnership with a major national utilities company. This is a hands-on, physical role offering excellent long-term job security and full training for candidates with the right attitude.
The Role
- You will be working as part of a 23 person team carrying out drainage work, including:
- Unblocking drains outside residential properties
- Working on the public highway
- Supporting general drainage and maintenance tasks
This role involves dirty and physically demanding work, so you must be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
Training
- No previous experience is required.
- Full training provided.
- First 2 days at a training centre in Slough (fully paid).
- You must be able to travel to Slough for initial training before starting at the Beckton depot.
Shift Patterns
You will work on one of the following rota patterns: 4 on / 4 off 12-hour shifts. Overtime paid after 12 hours and for additional days at time and a half.
