Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 3 X HGV2 (Cat C) Drivers / Drainage Operatives to work the Day shift on a Temp to Perm basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to the right candidates. These new positions are to start ASAP.
You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway and also working on waste water clearance & maintenance. This can sometimes be dirty & physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company, so there is long term job security.
Newly passed Class 2 drivers are most welcome to apply.
Please note, the first 2 days training for this job will be held at the training centre which is based in Slough. Before you apply for this role, can you please ensure that you are ok to travel to this location. The training is fully paid.
All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided including jackets, trousers, hard hat and boots.
The shift pattern will be: working on a 4 on 4 off rota with starts normally around 06.00am.
