Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 2 Van Drivers / Drainage Operatives on a Temp to Perm basis for our client who are a Drainage Contractor based in Ware Hertfordshire, and working in conjunction with Thames Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to successful applicants.
You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This is dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is good long term job security.
All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided for the role. No experience is needed as We will provide you with the best training for this job and this means your first two days at work will be at the Training Centre in Slough which is fully paid before you commence work at the Ware Depot.
This position is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent contract and following the Temporary period this will result in a permanent position if successful.
Pay rates for the first 4 weeks are £11.75 – £17.50 (Overtime). From April 5th 2025 the rates will increase to £12.25 and £18.00 for overtime
Please note: The shift pattern for this role is as follows,
Monday to Friday plus will need to work every other weekend so please ensure you are able to work this rota before applying

- Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
