Experienced class 2 HGV driver required for scaffolding company based in Loughton. You will be required to carry out scaffold deliveries throughout London and the South East.
Mon - Fri 0600 starts minimum 10 hour days.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement.
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV 2 driver's license with less than 6 points.
- Commercial driving experience.
- DCPC CARD.
- Digi card.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
