Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 2 X HGV2 (Cat C) Driver/Drainage Operatives to work the Day shift on a Temporary to Permanent basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Tonbridge Kent, and working in conjunction with Southern Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to the right candidates.

You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. Newly passed Class 2 drivers are most welcome to apply.

Please Note, the first 2 days training/induction for this job will be held at the training centre which is based in Guildford Surrey. Before you apply for this role, can you please ensure that you are ok to travel to this location. The training is fully paid.

The shift pattern will be:

  • Working on a 4 on 4 off rota (12 Hour Shifts)

This will be paid at £15.75 per hour for the day shift and £18.90 per hour for the night shift. Overtime paid at both time and a quarter as well as time and a half.

Requirements:

  • A Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • A Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • 12 week Temp to perm Position.
  • Weekly pay.
