Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 6 Drivers Mates / Drainage Operatives on a Temp to Perm basis for our client who are a Drainage Contractor based in Millbrook Southampton and working in conjunction with Southern Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to successful applicants.

You will be working as part of a 2-person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This is dirty and physical work but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is good long term job security. All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.

No experience is needed for the role as we will provide you with the best training for this job and this means your first two days at work will be at the Head Office in Guildford Surrey, before starting work at the Millbrook Depot. Please ensure you are fine travelling to Guildford for training before you apply. This training is fully paid.

You will need to hold a current UK Driving Licence for this role as some of the training includes driving a small van. This position is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent contract and following the Temporary period this will result in a permanent position if successful.

Pay rates for the position will be £13.00 Per Hour. Overtime will be available at time and a quarter as well as time and a half. Please note this is working Monday to Friday day shifts.

  • Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
