Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for reliable LGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Tilbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering permanent, full-time employment with regular hours and overtime available.
The Role
- Delivering panel timber products to commercial and trade customers.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- Typical start times between 6:00am and 7:00am.
- 50 hours per week.
- Overtime available.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing all relevant paperwork.
Requirements
- Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 multidrop driving experience preferred.
- Good customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- A good understanding of UK drivers' hours and working time regulations.
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
