Role Description

The Mobile Cabin Fitter role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Leicestershire.

The role involves fitting out, installing, and maintaining mobile cabins and site accommodation units, including tasks such as basic carpentry, minor plumbing, and simple electrical checks within competency.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include preparing cabins for hire, carrying out repairs and refurbishments, cleaning and ensuring cabins meet safety and quality standards, and assisting with loading, unloading, and positioning units on customer sites.

The Mobile Cabin Fitter will complete routine inspections, identify and report defects, follow health and safety procedures, and maintain accurate records of work carried out.

The role may also include liaising with customers on‑site, supporting colleagues in the yard, and working flexibly to meet operational and service demands.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a practical, hands‑on role such as fitter, maintenance operative, or trades assistant within construction, hire, or facilities environments.
