Role and Responsibilities
- Driving a modern fleet of 26 tonne vehicles
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and Work Time Directive (WTD) compliance
- Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client
- Day work start times round 04.00am to 06.00am.
- Little if any handball on the role.
- Trunking Work so must have experience in a similar role.
- Provide exceptional customer service
Your Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Possess a current CPC and Tacho Card.
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
- Experience in driving temperature controlled vehicles preferred but not essential.
Working Hours and Pay
- Monday to Friday
- Flexiable start times and shift patterns
- Rates from £15.50 to £16 ph
- Holiday pay on top of the hourly rate
