I am recruiting for a Production Co-ordinator on behalf of a leading specialist in the manufacture and integration of advanced components for high-performance systems in a variety of highly specialised industries. The Manufacturing Production Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating and monitoring production activities. This is a pivotal position that connects Manufacturing, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality, ensuring production schedules are effectively managed, materials and tooling are available, and customer and operational requirements are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with relevant departments and monitor upcoming production
- Monitor supply and demand to support effective production planning
- Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational objectives
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure materials and tooling are available to support manufacturing plans
- Take responsibility for daily backlog management and maintaining accurate data
- Input data and provide updates through the Planning Change Log
- Assist with contingency planning when external issues affect production
- Coordinate the weekly action tracking
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documentation and records
