This is an exciting opportunity for a technically accomplished engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, working directly with customers, and leading the introduction of new products into production. You will be a key technical authority within the business, helping drive continuous improvement, manufacturing excellence, and customer satisfaction.
As our Principal Production Engineer, you will:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert engineering support.
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities across production programmes.
- Support the introduction of new products, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacture.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and productivity across manufacturing processes.
- Support customer audits, technical reviews and programme meetings.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting production.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Essential:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, HNC (or equivalent experience).
