Premier Placement Services are recruiting for a number of Class 2 refuse drivers for our client in Middlewich.
Monday to Friday day work.
Immediate start and ongoing work.
Premier Placement Services are hiring HGV Class 2 refuse drivers for their prestigious client based in the Middlewich area. These are potential temp to perm positions for the right driver with a contract offered after 12 weeks, paying from £14.82ph plus holidays accrued on top.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Driving a refuse vehicle
- Hand balling on the roles and getting in and out of the trucks during the day
- Transporting the trucks on set runs around Cheshire East in a safe and timely manner
- Conducting vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Complying with all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of driving hours and working time directive (WTD)
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to the client
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho card
- Ability to work independently
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- No DR or DD offences
- Previous refuse driving experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential
Working Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- £14.82 - £15 per hour
- Holiday pay on top of hourly rate
