About Us

My client is one of the UK's market leaders in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment.

The Role

They are currently seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer to join their dynamic external site team, covering the Staffordshire and Cheshire area. Working alongside an electrical site engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing pumping and related equipment at client sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend nationwide installations, servicing, and breakdowns.
  • Service, repair, and assemble pumps and associated equipment.
  • Participate in a rota to provide standby cover over weekends and bank holidays when required.
  • Complete detailed site reports after each visit and submit promptly with customer sign-off.
  • Promote company products and represent the company in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • A background in mechanical repair, service or fitting.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a “can do” approach.
  • Mechanical qualification would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Working from home and covering sites within the North West area, with the occasional night away depending on the location; a shared van is available so a full driving licence is essential.
