I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and thriving manufacturer of specialist products who supply to a wide variety of industries globally. They are currently seeking 2 Coating Technicians to join their production team, working Mon-Fri 6-2 and 2-10 shifts, for which a generous shift allowance is paid.
Duties will include:
- Running various process and operating machines to apply specialist coating to products
- Examine the product before coating to ensure it is of correct standard
- Ensure accurate quantities and consistencies are applied
- Identify any problems in the coating process and take appropriate action
- Carry out routine maintenance of equipment to ensure efficiency
- Perform cleaning operations and identify any issues that could arise
Requirements:
- Experience in a process driven manufacturing environment, ideally with use of raw materials
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and identify problems
- GCSE or above in Maths and a science subject
