This role would suit a college leaver who has an interest in machinery, engineering or anything mechanical and who is looking to start a career in this industry as a Junior Sales Engineer. What you will be doing:
- Assist with management of incoming enquiries
- Providing technical guidance during the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and preparing detailed tenders or quotations.
- Engaging with clients to understand their technical requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Researching competitor activity, monitoring industry trends, and reporting sales performance to management.
- Working with sales teams, marketing, and new products departments to provide feedback to enable product improvement and maximise sales opportunities.
