Role and Responsibilities
- Driving a 26 tonne curtainside vehicle
- Transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, both locally and long-distance
- Experience of fridge vehicles preferred but not essential
- Nice easy and clean work, little if any handball on any roles
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and Work Time Directive (WTD) compliance
- Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client
- Keep detailed records of deliveries and pickups
- Provide exceptional customer service
Your Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Possess a current CPC card
- Work independently and efficiently
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
Working Hours and Pay
- Monday to Friday
- Earn between £16 and £20 per hour
- Receive paid time off
