Premier Placement Services is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 drivers for a major logistics company based in Stoke. Monday to Friday work - days. Temp to perm roles on offer to the right driver. If you are looking for a long-term ongoing role, Premier Placement Services operates a hands-on approach in getting to know and understand your needs and requirements.

If you’re looking for consistent, well-paid work, Monday to Friday day work, and a company that genuinely prioritises driver support and safety, this is the opportunity for you. You will work Monday to Friday day work, and if you want overtime, there is the chance to work Saturday for any extra shifts. Start times are typically in the morning, and shift lengths are usually around 10-12 hours.

You’ll be operating curtainside trailers, collecting and delivering goods and products to a wide range of companies including some RDCs and also trailer swaps at customer sites. There is minimal interaction with the load — most deliveries are bay work, and there are also deliveries to customers' yards. Your responsibility is typically limited to opening/closing curtains and securing loads. An 8-hour per day guarantee is in place on all booked shifts, and holiday pay is accrued as normal.

You will have access to our mobile app to help manage your work, and our operational team is available for 24/7 support.

Your Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
  • Possess a current CPC and Tacho Card
  • Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
  • Experience in driving similar vehicles preferred but not essential

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible start times and shift patterns
  • Rates from £16 to £30ph
  • Holiday pay on top of the hourly rate
