We are seeking a reliable and well organised Accounts Administrator to join our busy finance team. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day accounting and office administration, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and previous experience in an accounts environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices
- Raising sales invoices and emailing them to customers
- Monitor customer payments and check receipts through Facflow (invoice discounting facility)
- Managing credit control and customer account follow-ups
- Processing credit card receipts and posting transactions accurately
- Applying for customer credit accounts online
- Preparing and maintaining customs documentation
- Managing petty cash, banking cheques, and weekly replenishment
- Preparing weekly cash for installation teams
- Scanning and filing sales and supplier invoices
- Updating vehicle toll accounts as required
- Assisting with employee working hours in job management system when needed
- General office duties including answering telephone calls, filing, and replenishing stationery and refreshments
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Familiarity with Sage
- Good understanding of invoicing, payments, and basic accounting processes
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Strong organisational skills
