Premier Paper Group are the UK's largest independent paper merchant and we are looking to recruit a proactive and reliable Driver Team Leader to support the day-to-day operation of our transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver who is ready to take on a supervisory role while remaining hands-on within the operation.
As the Driver Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our drivers are organised, supported, and ready to deliver excellent service each day. You will act as the first point of contact for operational issues each morning and work closely with management to keep the fleet running efficiently.
- Supervise and support the daily activities of the driving team.
- Conduct morning driver briefings and ensure all routes are adequately covered.
- Resolve operational issues, including vehicle, staffing, and route queries.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies to arrange additional resources as needed.
