We are a busy Paper Merchant looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in our PM warehouse operation within our Wellingborough branch. As you can imagine within a busy warehouse environment, the Warehouse Operative role is physically demanding, requiring manual handling and heavy lifting in addition to climbing in and out of our MHE. As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for preparing customer orders, ensuring high pick accuracy, maintaining high safety standards, and working as part of a small, dedicated team to meet performance targets. This is a physically demanding hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment where you work to deadlines and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily warehouse activities (picking, dispatch, loading trailers)
- Maintain stock accuracy
- Ensure health & safety compliance
- Work closely with the warehouse management team to meet targets
- Previous warehouse experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance/Flexi), refresher training available internally
- Excellent holiday entitlement of 30 days plus statutory bank holidays

- No weekends (apart from 1 day annual stock take)
