KPI Recruiting are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our client's team at a busy production facility in Nantwich. This is a hands-on role working in a chilled environment, perfect for someone who enjoys active, physical work and is looking for a long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent position.
You will be responsible for handling, picking, packing, and moving cheese products, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety at all times.
Responsibilities- Working in a chilled warehouse environment handling cheese products.
- Picking, packing, and moving boxes of cheese weighing between 10kg and 20kg.
- Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Ensuring products are handled carefully and correctly.
- Reporting any issues or damaged goods to the shift supervisor.
- Supporting team members to meet production and dispatch targets.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg.
- Previous warehouse or food production experience is desirable but not essential.
- Must be comfortable working in a chilled environment (protective clothing provided).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
- Rotating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00
- Night shift: 22:00 – 06:00 (constant)
- Includes a 1-hour paid break per shift.
- Flexibility is required to work various shifts as needed.
- Pay rates: £12.68 per hour (AM shift), £13.68 per hour (PM shift / Nights)
- Weekly pay (every Friday).
- On-site facilities including free parking and toilets.
- Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
- Supportive working environment with full training provided.
