KPI Recruiting are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers for our client based in Stirling for tramping work,
New Passes Class 1 Drivers Welcome
As a Class 1 Driver Walking floor experience would be advantageous if no experience if not to worry as training will be given. 1st day of training will not be paid as this is a very niche part of training- 8 hours training
Your trailer will be loaded
Carrying wheelie bin waste
There is no handball or manual work involved
The most they will have to do is operate the doors and pull the sheets over
This is a clean position
Health and safety is vital
Rates
Days: £16.00 Per Hour PAYE
Nights: £18.00 Per Hour PAYE
Weekend Days: £19.00 Per Hour PAYE
Weekend Nights: £20.00 Per Hour PAYE
O/N Payment £26.00
Main Duties
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle with a walking floor trailer
- Transport wheelie bin waste between waste transfer stations
- Complete pre- and post-use vehicle checks and record any defects
- Adhere to legal driving hours and working time regulations
- Ensure safe loading/unloading of waste materials
- Follow site-specific health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- CPC Qualification Card & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience with walking floor trailers (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
- Experience in the waste or recycling sector is a plus
- Able to work independently and follow schedules
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
