With a strong presence across the UK and internationally, they are looking to expand their field service team with a skilled and motivated engineer.

    The Role

    As a Field Service Engineer, you\’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment at customer sites. This is a mobile role covering planned maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown response, ensuring safe, professional, and cost-effective service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete service, repair, and maintenance of electric lift trucks at customer sites.
    • Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation (job sheets, parts usage, etc.).
    • Manage and monitor van stock to ensure availability of parts.
    • Maintain company equipment, tools, and van in a safe, clean condition.
    • Work to planned schedules and meet deadlines efficiently.
    • Deliver high standards of customer service and technical support.

    What We\’re Looking For

    You\’ll need knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Hydraulic Systems

    You\’ll Also Need

    • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
    • Strong fault-finding and repair skills
    • Experience working in a service/maintenance environment
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
    • Commitment to Health & Safety and quality processes

    Desirable (Not Essential)

    • Formal engineering qualification (NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds etc.)
