Mechanical Maintenance Technician at PREMIER OFFICE SYSTEMS

Salary: £30k – £35k

We are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join our busy Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased and will carry out electrical & mechanical maintenance to maintain plant & equipment in our Foundry, fettling shop, heat treatment department and CNC machining facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute repair and maintenance activities according to best practice, engineering processes, procedures and safety regulations as directed
• Assist the team in the implementation of H&S policies and procedures for maintenance and associated activities
• Perform planned preventive maintenance across the site
• Assist the team in improving equipment performance at the lowest possible cost

Qualifications & Skills

• HNC / ONC in Mechanical Engineering
• Time Served Mechanical Apprentice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics preferred but not essential
• Willing team player, creative & innovative

Hours

This role is 37 hours working a 5 day-week and the standard hours are: Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 16:30 and Fridays 08:00 – 13:00.
