About the Role
As a Skilled Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to a high standard, covering our Ford and MG franchises.
- Conduct full vehicle inspections, including electronic vehicle health checks and videos.
- Carry out repairs and servicing aligned with manufacturer standards.
- Provide accurate summaries of works and procedures, ensuring first-time fixes.
- Communicate effectively with the service team to update on progress and completion.
- Uphold warranty repair standards and ensure safe, efficient use of workshop facilities.
- Offer technical advice to apprentices and non-technical staff.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a vehicle workshop, preferably with main dealer/franchise experience.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ Level 3).
- Electric vehicle experience is a plus.
- A friendly and outgoing personality, with a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A full and clean driving licence.
