Skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester
Permanent position. Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, i. e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician with a current MOT Tester qualification looking for your next challenge?
Premier Motors is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our busy and professional Aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well‑established main dealer, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and MOT testing across our Ford and MG franchises.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below to ensure the needs of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations.
- Identify and accurately record vehicle defects.
- Ensure all MOT documentation is completed correctly and efficiently.
- Experience across vehicle servicing, general maintenance and diagnostics.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
- What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards and MOT regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
