Location: London (Home based – With Travel)
Reports to: Aftercare manager
Purpose: To ensure that all maintenance issues are carried out in a timely manner on client sites at various locations.
Experience, Qualifications & Training:
- Good building and maintenance knowledge within the modular marketplace
- Key trades experience required – Joinery / Roofing / Plumbing. Electrical would be advantageous
- Ability to work on own initiative
- H&S awareness
- IPAF trained
- PASMA trained
- Ability to prepare RAMs and other associated safety paperwork
- Good communication skills including Microsoft packages and Aftercare online portal system
- Full, clean, driving license
- CSCS card
- DBS cleared
- Working at Height including use of access equipment such as MEWPs, Scissor Lifts, Scaffold Towers etc
- Supervising other Operatives on site as required
Principle accountabilities:
- To carry out maintenance on our modular fleet as directed by the Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor and in their absence an alternative manager
- To handle the role in a professional manner as a representative of the company with face to face contact with the client on-site
- To ensure that all paperwork is completed at each job and signatures are received
- To collect materials from suppliers or company depots as per arrangements
- To keep a site diary
- To be responsible for co-ordinating own tools, PPE, van, parking permits, London Congestion Charge as required
- To assist in installations, uplifts and site surveys as and when required
- To be flexible if site requirements mean working outside of general working hours such as weekend work and outside core hours where operationally required
- To carry out refurbishment work if required
- To attend site meetings / divisional meetings as requested
- To be proactive in communications to internal clients and external
