The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
You will work 12-hour night shifts in line with the duty rota, which includes weekends and Bank/Public Holidays. The role will also require occasional day shifts. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Marina Operative to join the team at Premier Marinas' Gosport Marina in Portsmouth Harbour. You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team committed to delivering high standards of customer service while ensuring the marina remains safe, secure and well-managed overnight. Our customers rely on us to provide a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out regular patrols of the marina and boatyard.
- Carry out safety and security checks, monitor access to secure areas, and oversee CCTV systems.
- Ensure the marina remains safe, secure and well-managed overnight.
- Provide high standards of customer service and assist customers as required.
Qualifications and skills
- Proven customer service or customer-facing experience.
- A "can-do" attitude with a flexible approach to teamwork.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Confidence in learning and using computer-based systems.
- Previous experience in a similar role, along with knowledge of boating and local cruising grounds, would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
