- Experience of risk assessments and safe operating procedures, particularly in an outdoor working environment.
- A logical approach to troubleshooting, good communication skills and a focus on safe, effective repairs.
The role will involve routine servicing, preventative maintenance and responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across Premier Marinas sites. Duties include fault-finding on motors, wiring, switches, sensors, control circuits, batteries and charging systems, alongside mechanical repairs to dry stack forklifts, tractors, boat hoists, engines, rams, hoses, transmissions and other plant machinery.
You’ll also work with marina teams and contractors, keep accurate maintenance records, and help improve equipment reliability and safety.
The role is based at our Head Office in Swanwick Marina and includes travel to sites across the South Coast. It involves outdoor working, with occasional nights away and weekend work as required.
