This exciting, employed, remote based Independent Financial Planner job is the full package! The business will provide you with leads, existing clients, full back office support and cost effective solutions to clients! This proposition is well suited to proactive, experienced Financial Planners who enjoy building great, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

You should look to make use of the excellent tools available to drive new business such as professional introducers, business planning, referrals and suite of marketing resources. You will be given a healthy portfolio of existing clients with aim to retain, service and grow this further. They have a wide range of clients, with most being Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Professional or Retail Clients. Plus, you may be provided with some corporate clients, where you will have the opportunity to provide seminars and financial clinics, either at the clients' homes, business premises or via Teams.

You will receive up to 8 pre-qualified leads per month from their contact team, enabling you to grow your client bank even further. You should focus on conducting in-depth reviews to understand your clients' current and future financial goals and objectives, and with the support of their back office team formulate appropriate financial strategies. You will be advising on clients' pensions, savings, investments, IHT, trusts and other financial needs. Excellent remuneration package provided to reward your productivity. This is a home-based role with remote working, including telephone/video interaction with clients. Although, you should aim to meet clients in-person, as this works well to deepen relationships and opportunity to develop referrals (car allowance and mileage provided).

Financial Planner Requirements
  • You must hold full Level 4 Diploma in financial planning or equivalent, holding CAS status as an experienced Financial Advisor providing holistic financial planning (including IHT, trust & estates, investments, pensions and protection).
  • You must have a proven track record in converting lead opportunities, networking and attracting new clients through business development activities; you will be asked to demonstrate this during the interview process.
  • You must have a proven track record of retaining excellent ongoing relationships, ideally from acquired clients or taking over servicing from another Advisor.
  • You should have a client centric approach and have dedication to doing the right thing for clients.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism and good IT skills.
  • You must be open to travelling up to 2 hours from your home for client meetings and also attend their Head Office in West Midlands up to once per month.
