I’m currently working with a well-established global FinTech SaaS business within the wealth and private banking technology space, who are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join their growing team in Paris. This award-winning business has been going since 2012 and develops a suite of SaaS platforms designed to improve client onboarding, lifecycle management, and operational efficiency for financial institutions. Their solutions are widely used across wealth managers, private banks, and investment firms, helping clients digitise and streamline the end-to-end client journey. The company has experienced consistent international growth and continues to expand its product offering across enterprise and mid-market segments.
The role is based in Paris and they require a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days a week.
The Role – Pre-Sales Consultant
- Act as a key technical and functional partner in the sales process
- Deliver product demonstrations and client workshops to senior stakeholders
- Lead discovery sessions and pre-implementation analysis
- Define scope and client requirements
- Identify gaps between standard product and bespoke needs
- Document assumptions and delivery dependencies
- Support Statements of Work (SOW) creation and commercial alignment
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure smooth handover into implementation
- Support RFIs and RFP responses with accurate, tailored content
- Contribute to continuous improvement of demo environments and pre-sales assets
- Engage directly with C-level stakeholders in financial institutions
- Support shaping of deal strategy and solution design on complex opportunities
Requirements
- Strong experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or similar client-facing technical sales role
- Background in SaaS, FinTech, Wealth Management, or Financial Services technology
- Solid understanding of private banking / wealth management workflows (or adjacent financial services domains)
- Confident delivering demos and workshops to senior / C-suite stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to support deal shaping and SOW creation
- Understanding of enterprise software architecture concepts (cloud, SaaS, data models, integration)
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and managing complex deal cycles
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team
- Able to commute into Paris office 2–3 days per week
