I’m currently working with a well‑established global engineering company that is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team in Enfield. The business has been operating for decades and develops advanced technology solutions across industries such as maritime, defence and surveillance.
Responsibilities
- This role will give you ownership of software development across the full lifecycle, from initial specification through to testing and verification.
- You’ll play a key role in developing new, innovative products while also supporting and enhancing existing systems in line with business needs.
- You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams and provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- The position also involves liaising with external stakeholders including customers and suppliers on software‑related matters.
On‑site working in Enfield 3 days a week, with some flexibility available.
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with C++ development.
- Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding of software design, testing, and verification.
- Comfortable in different engineering environments.
- Happy working across industries including Maritime and Defence.
