A leading, high-growth marketing agency is hiring a talented Creative Strategist to shape the ideas behind some of the most ambitious growth campaigns in the market today. This is not a “supporting role” in creative development. It’s a core strategic position—responsible for defining what gets made, why it should exist, and how it will actually win attention in a crowded digital world. The agency partners with fast-scaling companies including fintech, consumer tech, ecommerce & gaming helping them grow through a tightly integrated model spanning strategy, media, and creative execution.

Why This Role Exists

Great creative doesn’t start with execution—it starts with clarity of thought, cultural awareness, and sharp strategic framing. This role exists for someone who can sit above the output and define:

  • what the idea is
  • why it matters
  • how it will perform in the real world

You’ll be the link between audience insight, cultural signal, and campaign direction, turning complexity into creative clarity that production teams can execute against with confidence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Shape campaign thinking across multiple client accounts
  • Turn business goals and audience insight into strong creative territories
  • Define messaging structures, narrative frameworks, and content directions
  • Write briefs that genuinely inspire high-quality creative output
  • Balance bold creative thinking with measurable performance outcomes

Culture, Platforms & Attention

  • Track how attention actually moves across digital platforms
  • Identify emerging formats, behaviours, and cultural signals early
  • Build platform-native strategies (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Translate trends into usable creative opportunities before they peak
  • Ground recommendations in real performance data and live examples

Audience Insight & Strategic Thinking

  • Lead the interpretation of audience behaviour and motivation
  • Turn data, research, and cultural observation into meaningful insight
  • Build clear hypotheses that can be tested, measured, and refined
  • Move beyond surface-level insight into genuinely useful strategic framing
  • Present strategic thinking confidently to senior stakeholders and clients
  • Partner closely with creatives, designers, copywriters, and media teams
  • Ensure strategy translates cleanly into execution across all formats
  • Contribute to pitch work and new business opportunities
  • Act as a trusted strategic voice within the wider team

What Great Looks Like

  • 3–5 years’ experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or content strategy
  • A portfolio showing thinking, not just output
  • Deep curiosity about internet culture, platforms, and attention dynamics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—especially in briefing and presenting
  • Comfortable working with performance data and using it to inform creative direction
  • Strong understanding of how content behaves differently across platforms
  • Collaborative mindset—able to elevate creative teams, not just instruct them
  • Independent thinker with a clear point of view

Bonus Experience

  • Background in performance marketing / paid social creative strategy
  • Experience with creator-led or UGC-driven campaigns
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders (Head of Marketing / CMO level)
  • Interest in how AI is reshaping creative thinking and production

What’s On Offer

  • Hybrid working model (Monday WFH, Tue–Fri office)
  • Access to premium AI tools and emerging technologies
  • High-spec office environment with wellness facilities
  • Learning budgets, masterclasses, and industry exposure
  • Direct access to senior leadership and fast-growth operators
  • Clear progression opportunities in a scaling business
