Duration: 3 Month Contract

Location: Macclesfield (Onsite)

Rate: 17 - 20 per hour (Outside IR35)

Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Control Panel Wirer to support manufacturing operations on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring and testing electrical control panels used within an industrial manufacturing environment. The role requires the ability to work from electrical drawings and wiring schedules while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The Control Panel Wirer role will involve:

  • Wiring electrical control panels to engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Carrying out point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and panel modifications
  • Inspecting and testing completed panels to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications
  • Identifying and rectifying wiring faults and assembly issues
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with electrical safety standards and company procedures

The Control Panel Wirer will need to have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Control Panel Wirer, Panel Builder, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Experience with panel wiring and cable termination
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards
