The predicted salary is between 32 - 48 £ per hour.

Duration - 3-6 Months (likely to go temp to perm)

Working Model - 1-2 days on-site (London)

Hourly Rate - £40p/hour

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Designer with strong Inventor expertise to support ongoing engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the design and detailing of stiffened plate structures, preferably within the offshore, sub-sea, or oil & gas sectors.

The CAD Designer role will involve:

  • Creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  • Designing and detailing stiffened plate and structural steel work
  • Producing clear fabrication and manufacturing drawings
  • Updating and modifying drawings when required
  • Ensuring work meets project and industry standards

The CAD Designer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Must have strong experience using Autodesk Inventor
  • HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering qualification)
  • Experience designing stiffened plate and structural steel work
  • Background in offshore, sub-sea, or oil & gas projects (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
