You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave. As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly. No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

  • Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
  • Contract: Fixed term Contract ending 08/10/26.
  • Hours: 18 guaranteed hours per week.
  • Location: 1 Spitfire Close, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST16 1GX
  • Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same. Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

  • Welcome guests and help them check in
  • Serve breakfast or evening meals
  • Answer questions and help solve problems
  • Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
  • Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
  • Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience. Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service. If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
