What Youâll Do
As our Social Media Executive, you will be the goâto champion of organic social across Premier Inn UK. In this varied and fastâpaced role, you will:
- Lead & Own Social Excellence
Steer the organic social media strategy for Premier Inn UK, ensuring every post delivers against channel best practice and brand objectives. Oversee content creation and approvals across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, ensuring our content is bold, relevant, thumbâstopping and platformâoptimised. - Manage and Influence
Confidently manage our external social media agency, guiding, challenging, and collaborating to deliver bestâinâclass content. Build strong working relationships with the Brand Marketing team, PR, eCRM, Insight, Customer Contact Centre, Brand Studio, and more. - Deliver Campaign Impact
Work closely with our Senior Brand Marketing Manager to bring integrated campaigns to life across social. Spot trends, reactive opportunities and cultural moments that Premier Inn should be part of. - Own Community & Performance
Review analytics, insights, platform updates and competitor activity to continuously evolve our approach. Lead influencer and contentâcreator activity, ensuring brandâsafe, authentic and engaging partnerships.
What Weâre Looking For
To hit the ground running, youâll already bring:
- Handsâon Social Media experience for a major Business to Consumer (B2C) brand OR experience from a recognised Social Agency (This is essential â we need someone who understands the pace, expectations, creativity and rigour of bigâbrand social.)
- A strong grasp of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, including trends, formats and platform nuance.
- Confident experience working with (and ideally managing) external agencies.
- Evidence of creating or shaping thumbâstopping social content and campaigns.
- Someone who can act as a brand guardian across organic social channels, ensuring tone, guidelines, safety and compliance are upheld.
