At Premier Inn, we’re reshaping how millions of guests discover, book and experience a great night’s sleep, and this role sits right at the heart of that transformation. This is an opportunity to design end‑to‑end experiences that genuinely matter, spanning both the digital and physical moments of a stay. This will range from discovery and booking, through to arrival and in‑hotel experiences, to retention and repeat visits. You’ll help shape how guests experience Premier Inn before, during and after they walk through our doors.
We interact with millions of people digitally and welcome around 200,000 guests into our hotels every week. That scale means your work won’t sit in a silo. Instead, you’ll enjoy real breadth, collaborating across product, engineering, research and brand to create journeys that balance guest needs with commercial outcomes. Our customer base is split roughly 50/50 between B2C and B2B, so you’ll constantly explore how business and leisure journeys differ and how they overlap.
You’ll dig into some of our most exciting challenges such as:
- How AI is shaping discovery and booking
- How to make journeys simpler and more intuitive
- How arrival experiences flex between human interaction and self‑service
- How a guest’s device can become a trusted companion during their stay.
This is a role for someone with experience working in an ecommerce environment such as retail, gaming or travel, someone who loves solving complex problems, designing at scale, and seeing their work make a tangible difference for both customers and the business.
Strong expertise in interaction design, experience design, and prototyping, with the ability to balance guest needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Skilled in research‑informed design, using analytics, qualitative insight, heuristic evaluation, and competitor analysis to guide design decisions.
Proficiency with Figma.
Excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate design intent, trade‑offs and accessibility considerations.
Deep understanding of accessibility, usability heuristics, platform‑specific patterns, and design‑system principles.
If you’re motivated by impact, variety, and the chance to shape experiences used by millions every week, we’d love to hear from you.
