Kitchen Team Leader – Dumbarton/Loch Lomond

Join our team at Premier Inn Dumbarton/Loch Lomond as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career.

You’ll

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including rotas, food orders, and maintaining audit readiness.
  • Work closely with your Hotel Manager to ensure food quality and hygiene standards are met.
  • Lead the team during busy services, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring excellent service.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for those looking to develop towards Head Chef positions.

Pay Rate:

Up to £13.81 per hour

Hours:

35 hours per week across 5 days, including evenings and weekends, with guaranteed hours to help plan your week.

What you\’ll do:

  • Manage food ordering, stock control, and food costs across the hotel.
  • Lead during service, organizing the team and workflow.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specification, from breakfasts to pub classics.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained, with team training and record keeping.
  • Step up by running shifts and supporting new team members.
  • Learn kitchen management skills to progress into more senior roles.
