We're currently recruiting in our Birmingham South (Rubery) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.36 per hour. What you'll do
Join our team at Birmingham South (Rubery) Premier Inn as a Duty Manager, where your proven leadership skills will be put to use managing a reliable, high-performing team that ensures the smooth running of our hotel. If you've led a team in a retail environment, you will use your experience, excellent communication, and organisational skills to manage everything from health & safety standards to creating an exceptional guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the daily team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Manage front-of-house operations, including check-ins, reservations, and guest relations.
- Maintain inventory and manage procurement for supplies and equipment.
- Analyse performance data to improve service delivery and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and staffing plans.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in a leadership role within retail, hospitality or a similar customer-focus environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with digital booking and hotel management systems is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional hospitality or management training considered an advantage.
