Location: Southampton area and surroundings

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

On Call: Participation in a rota, with additional pay

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive Registered Manager to oversee and lead operations across multiple care settings in the Southampton area. This is a senior leadership position, offering the opportunity to shape service quality, culture, and operational delivery across the organisation.

You will initially manage over 2000 care hours per week and lead a team of around 60 care staff, supported by a local management team. The role also requires leadership and planning skills to scale and develop the service as it grows.

You will benefit from centralised organisational support functions including HR, Finance, Payroll, and Recruitment, allowing you to focus on operational management, compliance, and quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage supported living and domiciliary services for adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
  • Ensure person-centred, high-quality, and safe care that promotes independence.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with relevant standards (CQC or equivalent).
  • Manage, develop, and motivate care teams across multiple locations.
  • Support the smooth integration of new staff and service users during expansion or acquisitions.
  • Drive continuous service improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a positive, values-driven team culture.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within supported living or domiciliary care.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of managing dispersed teams.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Ability to manage change, implement new processes, and lead teams through transitions.
  • A hands-on, motivational leader with a passion for delivering excellent care.
