We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established care home in New Milton. This is a great opportunity for an NMC Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and previous leadership or team-leading experience to take the next step in their career.
The Role
- Working closely with the Home Manager, you will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical care and governance.
- Supporting, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff.
- Making confident clinical decisions and managing situations calmly under pressure.
- Completing and overseeing clinical audits, safeguarding and compliance checks.
- Supporting care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
- Ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC requirements and best practice.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
- Supporting the Home Manager with the overall delivery of high-quality care.
About You
- We are looking for someone who has:
- Active NMC registration with relevant post-registration experience.
- Previous experience leading a nursing or care team.
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in making clinical decisions.
- Good knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, DoLS and clinical audits.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
- The ability to support and mentor colleagues and encourage a positive team environment.
