We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established care home in New Milton. This is a great opportunity for an NMC Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and previous leadership or team-leading experience to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  • Working closely with the Home Manager, you will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Providing clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
    • Maintaining high standards of clinical care and governance.
    • Supporting, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff.
    • Making confident clinical decisions and managing situations calmly under pressure.
    • Completing and overseeing clinical audits, safeguarding and compliance checks.
    • Supporting care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
    • Ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC requirements and best practice.
    • Building positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
    • Supporting the Home Manager with the overall delivery of high-quality care.

About You

  • We are looking for someone who has:
    • Active NMC registration with relevant post-registration experience.
    • Previous experience leading a nursing or care team.
    • Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in making clinical decisions.
    • Good knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, DoLS and clinical audits.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
    • The ability to support and mentor colleagues and encourage a positive team environment.
