About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Forensic Psychologist to join our mental health hospital in Bexhill-on-Sea, supporting a service with 73 individuals. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialist psychological assessment, intervention, and treatment within a secure and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and risk evaluations for service users.
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment plans.
- Provide expert consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions for complex mental health and forensic presentations.
- Contribute to service development and staff training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and reports in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Psychologist (Forensic or Clinical Psychology with forensic experience).
- Demonstrable experience working in mental health or forensic settings.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, management, and rehabilitation in forensic mental health.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and team-working skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
