Job Title: Windows Server Manager (Contract)
Location: Maidenhead, UK (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

Rate: Up to £300 a day

- Own Our Servers: We take full charge of Windows Server, Hyper‑V clusters, Exchange, SQL, DNS, and web servers, keeping everything running at peak performance.
- Master Our Storage: Optimize IBM V7000 arrays to deliver rock‑solid reliability, speed, and growth planning.
- Lead & Inspire: Guide a tight‑knit IT team by sharing your know‑how, fostering best practices, and building their skills.
- Boost Uptime: Drive a hybrid support model that keeps 100+ internal users – and 2,000+ customers -up and running without a hitch.
- Pioneer in Azure: Spearhead a phased migration to Microsoft Azure, helping us modernize and scale securely.
- Champion Resilience: Design, test, and refine disaster recovery and backup plans so we’re always protected.
- Secure Our Network: Apply your networking and security savvy (VPNs, VLANs, firewalls) to keep data safe and compliant.
What You Bring
- Server Savvy: Proven track record in Windows Server management & Hyper‑V virtualization.
- Storage Smarts: Hands‑on experience with enterprise storage – IBM V7000 a plus.
- Cloud Curiosity: Practical knowledge of Azure administration & migration planning.
- Leadership Flair: Ability to motivate a small team and champion continuous improvement.
- Problem‑Solving Prowess: You thrive on untangling complex infrastructure challenges.
