JOB- Technical Sales Engineer

LOCATION- Welwyn Garden City

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus commission and benefits)

Premier Engineering is currently working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Welwyn Garden City, who are looking to grow their commercial team with the addition of a Technical Sales Engineer.

The Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• A background in engineering or technical sales
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Previous experience in a B2B technical sales environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM system experience beneficial
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused

The Technical Sales Engineer role will involve:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
• Providing technical advice and solutions to customer requirements
• Preparing and following up on quotes and proposals
• Attending client visits and technical meetings when required
• Working closely with internal teams including engineering and production
• Contributing to the overall sales strategy and performance
