We\’re Hiring: Shopify Liquid Developer (Contract Role) Location: Remote (with 1 visit/month to London) ⏳ Contract Length: 6 months Pay Rate: Negotiable ️ Start Date: ASAP ️ Interviews: Taking place ASAP. ✨ About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Liquid Developer to join our team on a contract basis . This is a remote-first role with the occasional need to attend meetings in London (once per month) . You’ll work closely with our design and eCommerce teams to customize Shopify themes , develop new features , and optimize user experience for a high-traffic, customer-facing Shopify store. ️ Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid Implement responsive designs and front-end features (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) Collaborate with design and UX teams to create pixel-perfect templates Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs as needed Debug and resolve technical issues across platforms ✅ Requirements Proven experience developing with Shopify and Liquid Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations Knowledge of version control (e.g. Git) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Nice to Have Experience with Shopify Plus Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for translating design to code eCommerce CRO or UX optimization experience Why Join Us?
