Business Leader working with Engineers across the UK

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – Β£35,000 to Β£45,000 per annum (plus commission and benefits)

My client is a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of components for the medical sector . They are looking to grow their commercial team by hiring a Sales Executive who will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the medical device and healthcare industries , reporting into their office in Welwyn Garden City .

The Sales Executive will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing sales , ideally within the medical or healthcare sectors
  • Strong understanding of technical product sales and consultative selling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and clients effectively
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
  • A technical qualification or engineering background is desirable

The Sales Executive role will involve:

  • Developing new business opportunities in medical manufacturing markets
  • Managing and growing key customer accounts
  • Liaising with internal engineering and production teams to support customer requirements
  • Preparing and delivering quotations and proposals
  • Attending industry events and customer visits to promote company capabilities
